FLEX-SER-45

from $975.00

High-resiliency foam on top brings bounce and support. Meanwhile, 2” of slow recovery foam in the middle creates a unique transition layer, tying incredible pressure relief with higher support than memory foam. It’s finished with a medium-firm version of one of the highest-density foam cores available.

Meet the FLEX-SER-45

  • An exceedingly bouncy foam, High Resilience foam brings all the benefits of springs or latex and offers far better support and breathability than most memory foams.

  • A foam like no other, this layer in the middle adds superior pressure relief compared to typical transition layers, but its closed-cell air capsule structure creates a far better support factor compared to memory foam.

  • An additional 2" of Ventilated Rebound Foam adds the perfect balance of pressure relief and airflow, ensuring long-lasting, cooling comfort.

  • With a foam that’s 75% more dense than a typical foam mattress core, our 2.8 density foam core is built to last. The 45 IFD (which is the measurement of firmness) provides a medium-soft feel.

Density Means Durability.

Ever seen a foam mattress with a big, body-shaped indent in it? That’s almost all because of the use of low density foams. But it’s not just the top layers of the mattress that need high density foam.

Oftentimes, mattress manufacturers will use quality, high-density foam in the top layer or two of a mattress (the parts you feel), then opt to use low-density, cheap foam in the base layer of the bed in order to cut costs. As a result, a cheap, low-density base is almost always to blame for body impressions, not the top layers. The foam simply isn’t made to last and will collapse with very little use.

1.5-1.8 lbs/ft³
(Most Foam Mattress Cores)

Nearly all bed-in-box mattresses found online use foam with a core density in this range, and most of those are closer to the low end of the range. They may feel the same as higher-density foams because density does not equal firmness. They won’t always feel the same, though.

Over time, these foams will lose 35% of their firmness and 5% of their height.

In other words, they create body impressions and get softer faster than higher-density foams. But they’re far less expensive, which makes them very attractive to other mattress retailers, who hardly ever even tell you the density of the foam they use.

2.8 lbs/ft³
(Comfort Option Foam Core)

Comfort Option uses foam with a 2.8 density, a level quality that is unmatched by our competition. This foam is nearly twice as dense, and in our internal tests, performs nearly 5x better than 1.5 density foams in terms of height loss.

Over time, our foam only loses less than 20% of its firmness and less than 3% of its height.

We’re transparent with the foam we use and call our products “Honestly Crafted” for that reason. We use the most quality foams in the industry and therefore are excited to offer as much information about our specifications as we can.

KülKōte is a Phase Change Material.

KülKōte is a water-based, polymer coating that uses micro-capsules that continually changes phases from liquid to solid in order to effectively manage heat energy. We spray it right onto the surface of the foam on the top layer of our mattresses, along with the surface of our SoftFlo® pillows.

Spoke to Ian at customer service and received a lot of great advice on where to go with my mattress! His recommendations were specifically tailored to my needs. After I ordered, he followed up personally to tell me that my order was received and my bed was being made— he was actively engaged with following up and keeping me educated! Would definitely recommend reaching out to their team for personalized help.
